Contract Engineering and Products/Licenses
We are seeking grants to develop a modification to Air Cooled normally aspirated Lycoming and potentially Continental Engines. Funding would go to prototyping an engine, testing it and providing data on improvements in SFC, Power and Reliability. Conservative calculation of potential are: - 18% Reduction in Fuel Flow for same power points. Ex. IO-360 at 75% power burning 10GPH would go to 8GPH - 60% or more increase in power with the same packaging as a normally aspirated engine at the same RPM - We expect significant reduction in oil consumption and longer durations between oil changes - If certified we see the the potential of TBO to go to 3000 hrs - Will test for reliability (Long Term Test)
Other testing with different grades of Fuel from Auto Gas, Jet A, Diesel.
Benefits:
- More Range - More Power - Higher Service Ceiling - Safer - Reduction in Maintenance Cost - Multi-Fuels Usage (Elimination of LL Low Lead)
Aerospace and Automotive Fuel Systems Design and Development Project Engineering, Product Development, Test Engineering R&D
